HTC One M8 receives Android 4.4.4 update with HTC EYE Experience in India


The HTC One M8 users in India, are now getting the Android 4.4.4 KitKat software update, which includes the HTC EYE Experience. The update which is being pushed out OTA (over-the-air) is reportedly around 300MB in size and brings the 3.35.720.1 software version.

Google Nexus 9 with LTE coming to T-Mobile in December

T-Mobile started selling the Google Nexus 6 smartphone today, to its customers and is also hoping to offer the Google Nexus 9 tablet very soon. The un-carrier confirmed that the LTE version of the tablet will be available in stores from early December, but didn't give any specific dates.

By listing system apps in the Google Play Store, the manufacturers can avoid the carriers, and have users update them just as easily as they would update any app. The manufacturer is no longer relying on a carrier to test a maintenance update, approve it, and send it out OTA.

HTC One M8 for T-Mobile receives Android 4.4.4 KitKat along with HTC EYE Experience

The HTC One M8 for T-Mobile is now receiving the Android 4.4.4 software update, which includes the new EYE Experience which was introduced during HTC's "Double Exposure" event a few weeks ago. The update first started rolling out for the unlocked units last week and it looks like T-Mobile will be the first US carrier to offer the update.
