The HTC Desire EYE, which was announced just last week will be exclusively available in the US through AT&T "this holiday season". HTC has released a video which showcases some of the main features of the Desire EYE.
As you may know, the highlight of the HTC Desire EYE is its two 13 MP cameras with dual LED flashes - one on the rear, and one on the front (for selfies and video calling). Other than that you get a 5.2 inch 1080p HD display, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, BoomSound stereo speakers and a Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM. While the Desire EYE does not share the metal body found on the HTC One M8, its plastic body is water resistant as an added benefit.
The handset is expected to be released in other markets around the works at about the same time it lands on AT&T. In Europe, the Desire EYE may end up costing as much as the One M8 flagship. It is not known if that’s also the case for the US market.
