AT&T has announced that it will be launching the HTC Desire EYE as an exclusive on its network starting November 7. The handset has specs rivaling the manufacturer's flagship HTC One M8 but has the unique addition of 13MP front and rear facing cameras.
The HTC Desire EYE for AT&T features a polycarbonate body, a 5.2 inch full HD touch display, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel rear camera, a 13 megapixel front camera and a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor with 2GB of RAM.
The handset will be priced at $149.99 with a two-year contract and can be purchased at $549.99 contract free. If you are purchasing the device on AT&T Next 18, it will cost $0 down, with 18 monthly payments of $22.92. On the AT&T Next 12 plan, the handset is $0 down, with 12 monthly payments of $27.50.
The HTC RE Camera will also accompany the Desire EYE to AT&T's stores, and will cost $149 if purchase along with the smartphone. AT&T plans on accepting pre-orders for the rugged camera on November 7th, with the device expected in AT&T Stores beginning November 21st.
