Google Nexus 9 with LTE coming to T-Mobile in December

T-Mobile started selling the Google Nexus 6 smartphone today, to its customers and is also hoping to offer the Google Nexus 9 tablet very soon. The un-carrier confirmed that the LTE version of the tablet will be available in stores from early December, but didn't give any specific dates.

After a short delay, the Google Nexus 6 is now available for purchase on T-Mobile. The first Motorola built Nexus runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and offers flagship hardware, with a premium design but comes at a higher price than Nexus devices are known for.

T-Mobile announces free tablet offer, and BOGO MetroPCS smartphone deal

Alcatel OneTouch Pop 7Its the holiday season and T-Mobile is in the giving mood. The un-carrier has announced that it's going to give away free tablets and smartphones to its customers.

On November 21, existing T-Mobile customers can visit a participating stores and get the Alcatel ONETOUCH Pop 7 for $0 down and $0 payments. That means that the customer will only end up paying the sales tax on the device. The offer will be opened up to everyone on November 22.

The HTC One M8 for T-Mobile is now receiving the Android 4.4.4 software update, which includes the new EYE Experience which was introduced during HTC's "Double Exposure" event a few weeks ago. The update first started rolling out for the unlocked units last week and it looks like T-Mobile will be the first US carrier to offer the update.

Today T-Mobile introduced UN-Carrier 7.0 during a special event which was titled, "This Time It's Personal". During the event it unveiled that the latest chapter will be called "Wi-Fi unleashed". Basically what this means is that your T-Mobile device will be able to seamlessly switch between Wi-Fi and network calls without dropping or delay.

T-Mobile UNCarrier 7.0 scheduled for September 10

It has been a little over two months since T-Mobile announced version 6.0 of its UNCarrier movement, which introduced Music Freedom. With Music Freedom, T-Mobile customers were able to stream music on certain apps without having it counted toward their data limit. Now the carrier is getting set to unveil its next milestone and they have scheduled an event for September 10.

Nokia Lumia 925 and Lumia 521 for T-Mobile to receive Windows Phone 8.1 later this year

T-MobileMicrosoft is currently rolling out the Windows Phone 8.1 update with Lumia Cyan to their entire Lumia Windows Phone 8 lineup and hopes to complete the rollout by the end of summer. Unfortunately with summer drawing to an end, the Nokia Lumia 521 and the Nokia Lumia 925 on T-Mobile have still to be updated to the latest version of Microsoft's mobile OS.

Fortunately a tweet from the carrier may have some insight on the matter.
