Google Nexus 9 with LTE coming to T-Mobile in December

T-Mobile started selling the Google Nexus 6 smartphone today, to its customers and is also hoping to offer the Google Nexus 9 tablet very soon. The un-carrier confirmed that the LTE version of the tablet will be available in stores from early December, but didn't give any specific dates.

After a short delay, the Google Nexus 6 is now available for purchase on T-Mobile. The first Motorola built Nexus runs Android 5.0 Lollipop and offers flagship hardware, with a premium design but comes at a higher price than Nexus devices are known for.

Google launched the Android One initiative as a way to bring affordable smartphones to users in emerging markets. Android One devices run on stock Android and are supposed to get quick updates to the latest version of the platform. While the Nexus series and Google Play Edition may be higher on Google's update priority, it looks the the Android One devices are next in line for Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Google Play Edition devices will receive Android 5.0 Lollipop "early next week"

When Google first unveiled Android 5.0 Lollipop last month, they promised to bring the update to their Nexus and Google Play Edition (GPE) devices within weeks. Now that the Nexus devices started receiving Lollipop a few days ago, it looks like the company has shifted its focus to its GPE devices.

Google Keep for AndroidGoogle Keep for Android has been updated to version 3.0 with a Material Design inspired design changes to its user interface. Google Keep lets you quickly capture notes or make lists and have them synced across all your Android devices.

Google Search for Android has been updated to version 4.0 which brings a Material Design makeover, with a streamlined layout, bolder colors and fluid animations. The update also brings the ability to search within apps, find appointments within your mail and more.

Google has released Android 5.0 Lollipop factory images for the Google Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 10. Google previously announced that they have started rolling out the newest version of Android for "most Nexus devices", so you should start receiving the update soon. Meanwhile you could also consider installing the update using the factory images.

Google announced on Wednesday that it has started rolling out the Android 5.0 Lollipop software update as an over-the-air (OTA) update to "most Nexus devices". The devices set to receive Lollipop include the Google Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2012), Nexus 7 (2013) and Nexus 10. The Nexus 6 and Nexus 9 come with Android 5.0 preinstalled out of the box, but are also receiving an OTA update with bug fixes.

The folks at YouTube have announced a new subscription service called Music Key, which brings features like offline music, full albums, background music, and ad-free music playback. The service will cost $9.99 per month and include an All Access pass to Google Play Music.The service is currently in beta, and early adopters will get a promotional price of $7.99 per month.

T-Mobile delays Nexus 6 launch by a week to November 19

According to sources said to be familiar with the situation, the problem revolves around Motorola's scheduled delivery of Nexus 6 inventory to the carrier. AT&T customers will be able to pre-order the Nexus 6 tomorrow, but Sprint has announced that they will be selling the device on Friday. That means you will be able to walk into your local Sprint store, and purchase the Google Nexus 6 directly, though it's unclear if all locations will have stock.

AT&T has announced that it will be offering the Google Nexus 6 for pre-order starting tomorrow, November 12. The handset has been almost impossible to come by on the Google Play Store, where it is priced at $650, but some may find AT&T's subsidized prices more appealing.
