The Motorola Moto X on Verizon is now receiving the Android 4.4.2 software update. The update is being pushed OTA (over-the-air) and you should receive a notification when it is available for your device. According to Verizon, the update will include improved performance of the phone dialer, improved synchronization of email attachments, and enhanced security for the phone.
Other changes include improved battery life, improved roaming connectivity, enhancements to Isis Mobile Wallet, and the latest versions of VZ Tones and VZ Navigator. With the Android 4.4.2 update, the Moto X for Verizon now runs the latest build of Android 4.4 KitKat, which puts it on par with the Google Play edition phones, the Nexus devices, some versions of the HTC One and the Moto X on other carriers.
These updates are sent out on a staggered basis, so it might be a few days before it hits your Moto X. If you have not received an update notification, you can manually check for it by going to Settings > About phone and check for updates.
