LG G3 starts receiving Android 5.0 Lollipop software update
While the general opinion is that Google's Nexus line up will be the first to receive Android updates, it looks like LG has beaten them in getting the update to the latest version of Android, as it has just started rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop for the LG G3.

LG G Watch R now available for purchase in the US through Google Play Store
The LG G Watch R is now available for purchase in the US, through the Google Play Store for $299, alongside the regular shaped LG G Watch which costs $229. Bothe smart wearables run Android Wear, but the G Watch R is definitely the better looking option between the two devices.

AT&T will be offering the LG G Watch R starting November 5, through its online store and November 7, through its retail stores. The G Watch R is an Android Wear device and is priced at $299.

When will my device receive Android 5.0 Lollipop
Android 5.0 Lollipop has arrived, and with it brings a brand new user interface, the ART runtime, a power savings mode and several other features and improvements. As usual, Google's Nexus devices will be first in line for the update, followed by the Google Play and Android One devices. Next we expect popular smartphones from various manufacturers will be updated to Lollipop.

LG demonstrates 20MP camera module with advanced OIS

LG G Pad 8.0 with LTE connectivity announced

LG G Watch receives update in response to complaints about corrosion and skin irritation
The LG G Watch is receiving an OTA update, taking the build number from KMV78V to KMV78Y. While no official changelog has been posted for the update, its likely purpose is to fix the growing problem of corrosion buildup on the exposed POGO pins located on the back of the smartwatch by turning off the power to these pins when the device is not being charged.

LG G2 for Sprint receives Knock Code update
One of the enhancement offered on the LG G3 was its Knock Code screen unlocking feature, which allows you to tap the screen in predefined locations to wake it and unlock instantly, even when the device was asleep. Knock code first debuted on the LG G Pro 2, but is now being offered for the LG G2 on Sprint as well.

LG announces worldwide availability of G Pad 10.1 tablet
Today LG revealed that the largest member of its G Pad family of tablets, the LG G Pad 10.1, is globally available for those interested in owning one. But don't rush to the stores just yet - pricing and availability for each individual market are to be announced prior to the launch. It appears that the LG G Pad 10.1 will hit the shelves in the USA, while select markets across Europe, Asia, and Latin America will be getting it by the end of July.

Google releases Android Wear software update to LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live

LG G3 for T-Mobile now available on pre-order
Starting today, T-Mobile is accepting pre-orders for the LG G3 on its network. As the nation's fourth largest cellular carrier, T-Mobile will be the first to offer LG's newest flagship in the U.S.. The carrier also gave away 28 handsets to those winners of its LG G3 Open Beta Sweepstakes.
