Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 now receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software update
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G which is available in the U.S. through T-Mobile is now receiving the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) software update which includes Android 4.0.4 along with other features and improvements
You can obtain the update by connecting your tablet to your computer and running the Samsung Kies software.

A couple of weeks ago we reported that the international Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was receiving Android ICS.
Now owners of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the U.S. are reporting that they are receiving the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 receives Android 3.2 software update
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 users are getting the Android 3.2 update. The update was previously pushed a couple of weeks ago but was then recalled when the update led to WiFi connectivity problems for some. The bug has been resolved and Samsung is ready to try again.
If you previously unfortunate to updated your tablet to the faulty Android 3.2 you will have to update to the new version using the Samsung Kies desktop software. If you have skipped the previous update you will be able to update to Android 3.2 Over the Air (OTA)

Samsung Galaxy Tab for Verizon receives Android Gingerbread software update
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 4G has received the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update. The tablet was launched with Android Froyo and Verizon has now added some new features along with the general Gingerbread treats.
Along with the Android Gingerbread version 2.3.5 Verizon and Samsung also offer improved copy and selection functionality, improved security for the PIN method for users who use the PIN security feature. Verizon has also added customization to help users manage their data plan - Users can View their data plans in real time, so that they can make sure they dont exceed their limit.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was made available in Europe featuring the TouchWiz UI interface and it looks like Samsung is going to offer the experience for the other 10.1 tablets via an over-the-air firmware update which will start rolling out on 5 August.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 has been around US consumers for some time now and is popular for being the thinnest and lightest tablet in the world.
