Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 receives Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich in the U.S.

A couple of weeks ago we reported that the international Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 was receiving Android ICS.

Now owners of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the U.S. are reporting that they are receiving the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update.

The update will bring the latest version of Android Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0.4) and will have the build IMM76D, which will offer the most recent security fixes and performance improvements.

The update will be made available OTA (Over the Air) and you will receive a notification on your device when the update is available. You can also manually update your device using the Samsung Kies software.

While users will be happy to receive ICS, I am sure everyone will now be wondering when they will receive the newer Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
