If you own an Acer Iconia tablet, it’s time to get ready for some Ice Cream Sandwich. Acer has announced that the Acer Iconia Tab A100 and Acer Iconia Tab A500 will be receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).
The rollout will start on April 25th and should arrive for U.S. tablets on April 27th according to the report.

Acer Iconia Tab A500 receives software update
The Acer Iconia Tab A500 will be updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich early next year, but meanwhile Acer has released two software updates to the tablet.
The first release is 7.014.01 which will be followed by the 7.014.02 update. The updates which are 10MB in size, brings general speed improvements to the UI and an updated Android Market (3.4.4).

Acer A-Series tablets getting Android (4.0) ICS in January 2012
All Android end users want to know if they are eligible for the latest Android update and the same goes for the latest in the Android's treat arsenal - Ice Cream Sandwhich (ICS).
Users of the Acer ICONIA Tabs A100/A101/A500/A501 may be in for some early luck with a leaked report from Acer Poland, pointing towards ICS heading towards Acer's A-Series of ICONIA tablets in mid January 2012.
