Download Windows USB Drivers for Samsung, HTC, ASUS, Sony, LG and other Android devices
Android is a derivative of Linux, and therefore natively works with any Linux-based system without requiring extra configurations. This also includes Mac OS X which is also a variant of Linux. However, for Windows – the most widely used PC operating system – things are little different. In Microsoft’s operating environment, any hardware component that you have attached to your system, requires proper drivers to be configured, whether it’s an internal piece of hardware or a peripheral. Acer Liquid S1 - Video Review
The Acer Liquid S1 is the first attempt at a phablet from the company. It features a 5.7 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
The Acer Liquid S1 is priced at 350 Euros ($460) which feels a bit pricey considering the weak chipset, subpar display and underwhelming camera performance. The Samsung Galaxy Mega 5.8 is an alternative worth considering, which also features two SIM slots and has almost identical dimensions and weight, with slightly larger battery and more RAM, but has a lower screen resolution.

4K is the stage after full (1080p) HD and the video standard that will be best experienced on those new Ultra HD television sets. The thought that a smartphone brings that level of processing power inside it is quite impressive.

The 320 x 480 pixel resolution is somewhat low for a 3.5 inch display and you will likely see some pixelation when you read smaller text. Also keep in mind that you wont get the best viewing angles with this handset. The Liquid Z2 comes with either a 3 or 5 megapixel camera depending on whether you choose the dual or single SIM model. The camera lacks flash, but is yet capable for everyday use.
The handset features Android 4.1 Jelly Bean which should perform reasonably well on this unit’s hardware.
