Since Google released Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP) we have seen custom ROMs appear for several devices including the Samsung Galaxy S III, HTC One X and tablets like the Asus Transformer and Amazon Kindle Fire.Now the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is getting is chance at Jelly Bean and there are actually two options to choose from.
One is based on AOSP and the other on CyanogenMod 10. The AOSP ROM gives you a pure Android 4.1 Jelly Bean experience while the CyanogenMod adds
some modifications to enhance your Jelly Bean experience.Given that these ROMs haven’t had much development or testing time, don’t expect a fully stable user experience. CyanogenMod is reportedly more stable on the Galaxy Tab 10.1 compared to the AOSP ROM, but as the developers continue to fine tune their ROMs this is bound to change over time.
