HP TouchPad receives Android 4.1 Jelly Bean through CyanogenMod 10
The HP TouchPad has been warmly welcomed by the modding community and stands front in line for most Android updates. It first got access to Android Gingerbread through CyanogenMod and MIUI. Then back in January the tablet got early access to Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

HP TouchPad (32GB) selling for $195
The HP TouchPad may not have sold as well as expected when it first came out, but saw its stocks fly off the shelf during the fire sales. The TouchPads quickly sold out as a result of the sales, but there are still some refurbished units up for grabs.

HP TouchPad receives webOS (3.0.5) software update
The HP TouchPad users have not been totally forgotten, the company has released an update to their discontinued mobile platform taking the version to webOS 3.0.5. The update fixes some bugs while improving the overall experience.

HP TouchPad successor in webOS future?
Following the all-hands meeting at HP today, there seamed to be some clarity on the future of WebOS. HP CEO Meg Whitman decided that the mobile operating system would be open sourced, but didn't give any indication that the company would follow up with any WebOS hardware. However during a follow up sit-down interview she confirmed that HP hopes to produce more hardware though it would likely only be by late next year or early 2013.

The WebOS running HP TouchPad may have been discontinued, but thanks to the fire sales on the device it has taken the position of #2 tablet position for the first three quarters of 2011.

TigerDirect seams to have a stash of illusive HP TouchPad tablets, and the will have them available for purchase soon. The version is available is the 32GB model, but will cost $279.99 with a little twist.

HP TouchPad coming to Best Buy but with a catch
Yesterday HP finally announced that they have run out of HP TouchPad all together. All those who signed in to be notified of device availability were notified that their stock has totally depleted. But the email from HP also informed users to check with local retailers for availability and it looks like one retailer has some devices in stock.

HP TouchPad will be available again in 6 to 8 weeks
The fire sales on the HP TouchPad found the device selling like hotcakes but now that the stocks have depleted the craze also seems to have died down. However there are some lucky buyers who managed to get their orders in and our waiting on HP to deliver the elusive TouchPad tablets.

HP TouchPad - One last batch coming
HP has stated that it will release one last batch of HP TouchPad tablets to try and meet the unfulfilled high demand for the devices following the fire sale which brought down the prices as low as $99. There is also news of HP working on an update to WebOS for the TouchPad which is a little strange considering that the device has been cancelled.

HP TouchPad - Only $49 at Staples
As retailers start liquidating there stock of HP TouchPad devices following HP's decision to terminate their WebOS hardware manufacturing, people have been clamoring to get their hands on all available devices which were being sold at a starting price of $99 on HP online along with certain retail stores in Canda.
HP TouchPad now available at Best Buy
After deciding that they will not get in on the HP TouchPad Fire Sale like their counterparts in Canada, BestBuy removed the device from their stores and online shop only to bring it back today. While the online store shows the item as un available we advise our readers to check your nearest store for a chance to get your hands on one.

The HP TouchPad launched last month with the 16GB and 32GB models being sold at $499.99 and $599.99 respectively. With slow adaptation by customers and lack of support from developers the tablet sales were poor through the months of July and August.

HP TouchPad price drops permanently
The HP TouchPad with WebOS could have easily inched its way passed Android tablets but has fallen short and seen price cuts from both HP and retailers. HP has now permanently reduced the price of both the 16GB and 32GB models by $100.
