Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 now receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich software update



The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 3G which is available in the U.S. through T-Mobile is now receiving the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) software update which includes Android 4.0.4 along with other features and improvements

You can obtain the update by connecting your tablet to your computer and running the Samsung Kies software.

[NOTE] This update will not be available Over-the-Air (OTA) update. T-Mobile has also advised users that the Ice Cream Sandwich update will wipe the home screen layout.

[NOTE] You will require Android ICS in order to use Media Hub after August 27th. Download the latest version of Samsung Kies for Windows or Mac and ensure you have at least 50% battery life before you begin the update.
