Samsung Galaxy S5 Plus with Snapdragon 805 revealed on company's website
Samsung has listed a new device called the Galaxy S5 Plus on its Netherlands website. The handset is nearly identical to the regular Samsung Galaxy S5, but has the distinct advantage of a faster Snapdragon 805 processor under its hood.

According to Geohot, towelroot is compatible with both the AT&T and Verizon Samsung Galaxy S5 models, but in reality it should work perfectly fine with anything that’s running a kernel built before June 3.

AT&T is rolling out an OTA (over-the-air) software update for the Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900A) on its network. Unfortunately all the update brings is two of AT&T's own apps, Lookout and Yellow Pages Mobile. The update also adds Samsung's Find My Mobile and Reactivation Lock to the device.

Samsung KNOX 2.0 now available for the Samsung Galaxy S5
Samsung KNOX version 2.0 was announced back at this year's MWC and has now been made available for the Samsung Galaxy S5. Samsung Knox 2.0 will also be sent out in an OS update to earlier Samsung Galaxy handsets, allowing users of the first-gen KNOX to migrate to KNOX 2.0. This should bring a smile to the faces of those who work for a company where you are allowed to BYOD.

Samsung Galaxy S5 Developer Edition available for Verizon
Samsung has released the Galaxy S5 Developer Edition, which comes with an unlocked bootloader out of the box. The device is offered off-contract and will cost you $599.99, just like the regular model. Unfortunately the model is only available in the US through Verizon. It is not known if Samsung plans to release the Developer Edition in the US through other carriers.
