
The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, with its unique side display is now available in the US through most major carriers. Unfortunately it comes at quite a cost, with prices starting at $399.99 on contract or a whopping $900 off-contract.




Last week AT&T launched a promotion, doubling the data offered to both new and existing customers with a Mobile Share Value plan, splitting 15GB to 50GB data. Starting today, Sprint will also double the data on its 32GB, 40GB and 60GB Family Share Pack plans.


The Samsung Galaxy S4 for Sprint which supports Sprint Spark, is currently receiving a software update which enable calling or texting using international Wi-Fi calling. Spring Spark is a tri-band LTE network which offers extremely fast data speeds. With Sprint Spark, the phone is able to figure out which of the three bands is best suited for a particular task, which allows for faster wireless service.


Not too long ago Sprint announced an exclusive HTC One M8 Harman Kardon Edition. Now the nation's third largest carrier is teaming up with Samsung, Under Armor and MapMyFitness to offer a special edition of the Samsung Galaxy S5, which is known as the Galaxy S5 Sport.
The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini for Sprint is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat software update. The update which is being rolled out in stages to devices OTA (over-the-air) brings Android 4.4.2 along with the L520VPUBNE3 build number.
The HTC One M8 for Sprint is receiving an OTA update which brings the 1.54.651.10 software version, along with a fix for the issue which causes the device to randomly loose access to its data connection.
Motorola continues its trend for offering quick software updates, by releasing Android 4.4.3 for its Moto X, Moto G (LTE), and Moto E smartphones. Motorola's Steve Horowitz, SVP of Software Engineering, has announced that Android 4.4.3, which happens to be the latest version of the platform, has been released for certain Moto X, Moto G, and Moto E models. While the others are expected to receive the update soon.
