The LG G3 is arguably the best Android smartphone currently available for purchase, boasting a Quad HD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution display, laser guided autofocus and the latest hardware. So how will the device compare against the affordable yet powerful Google Nexus 5.
The Nexus 5 is also an LG built device, based on last year's LG G2. It costs less than $350, which is about half the cost of the G3 and its Snapdragon 800 processor is just slightly older the Snapdragon 801 processor found on LG's newest flagship. You also get the added benefit of getting the latest Android updates as they are released.
Still with the G3 you will get a better camera, a more reliable battery and an impressive 5.5 inch Quad-HD display. So your final choice will come down to weighing whether you want to spend all that extra money to enjoy the additional G3 features.
