Early this year, we saw LG unveil a new lineup of affordable G Pad tablets, which were made up of the LG G Pad 7.0, LG G Pad 8.0 and the LG G Pad 10.1. Unfortunately to keep these devices affordable, they were limited to Wi-Fi connectivity. Now LG has unveiled its LTE-enabled version of the G Pad 8.0
Apart of the LTE connectivity, the G Pad 8.0 is identical to its Wi-Fi variant. You get the 8 inch display with a 800 by 1280 pixel resolution, 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5MP rear camera, a 1.3MP front camera, a 4200mAh battery and a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor with 1GB of RAM. Even on the software side, you will be presented with the same LG Android experience, which includes Touch & Shoot, Smart Keyboard, Gesture Shot, and Knock Code.
The LG G Pad 8.0 with LTE will be made available in select European countries later this week, while specific markets across Central/South America and Asia will follow shortly after.
