Nokia Lumia 2520 - Hands On Videos

The newly announced Nokia Lumia 2520 features a 10.1 inch full HD touch display, 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 6.7 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. Today is definitely a day of first for Nokia. Alongside the announcement of their first phablet, Nokia has also taken the covers off their first modern tablet - the Nokia Lumia 2520. While Microsoft's Surface tablets dont come with data connectivity, the Lumia 2520 proudly runs Windows 8.1 RT with 4G LTE for ultimate mobility.

The design is typical Nokia Lumia line, with thin polycarbonate housing that will be available in red, cyan, glossy white and mate black colors, and the housing is very compact at 267 x 168 x 8.9 mm with 615g of weight.

Microsoft removes the Windows 8.1 RT update from the Store due to startup issues

Yesterday Microsoft started rolling out the Windows 8.1 update to Windows 8 and Windows RT users through the Windows Store. However those with Windows RT devices like the Microsoft Surface RT will notice that the Windows 8.1 RT update is no longer available on the Windows Store. It turns out there is an issue affecting some consumers who upgraded their tablets. If you've already started to upgrade your tablet and have encountered issues, there is a temporary solution in place while Microsoft fixes the issue

Today Microsoft announced the Surface 2 and the Surface Pro 2 during a special media unveiling event. Just like its predecessor, the Microsoft Surface 2 runs Windows RT, and while some have questioned Microsoft's decision to use stripped down OS, Microsoft seems confident that the Surface 2 can compete with iOS and Android with a premium price

Nokia Sirius Windows RT tablet coming on September 26

We have heard that Nokia is working on a Windows RT tablet and we have come across Sirius as a codename for a product that Nokia has been working on. Now they have been tied together to reveal that the Nokia Sirius is in fact that Windows RT tablet.

Images of a prototype of this device have leaked recently showing Verizon branding and featuring a Lumia smartphone like pillow shape design and colorful polycarbonate bodies.

Nokia Windows tablet specs and details unveiled

Even though the company hasn't admitted to it, Nokia has clearly been working on a new tablet. The device  is expected to be unveiled as early as next month and some information regarding its specs and other details have leaked out. According to the information the Nokia tablet will launch in mid-to-late October with Windows RT 8.1 on-board. With Microsoft expected to launch their latest version of Windows on October 17, the date seems plausible.

Microsoft Surface RT discount extended across the world

We recently reported that the Microsoft Surface RT was being discounted to $349 through the Microsoft Store. Now the discount has been extended across markets in Europe, with the ARM powered tablet being offered at £279 in UK and €329 in Germany.
