Nokia Lumia 1020 receives Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan in Canada, UAE, India and UK

Nokia Lumia 1020Microsoft is rolling out the Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan for the in Canada, UAE, India and UK. Microsoft has announced that the Lumia 1020 on Rogers and Telus in Canada will be receiving the update. They also announced the availability of the update for the Indian market. In the UK, Lumia 1020 users on Vodafone and O2 have reportedly been receiving the update, while certain users in the UAE have also reported receiving the update on their handsets.

Samsung Galaxy S IV available for pre-order in UK

The Samsung Galaxy S IV is now available for pre-order in the United Kingdom through a a vast majority of the major retailers. The device is expected to be available late next month and while prices will vary depending on which package you select, its a likely assumption who will be spending a reasonable amount to own Samsung's latest flagship.

In terms of specs the Galaxy S IV doesn't disappoint. It features a 5 inch Super AMOLED touch display with a 1080 by 1920 pixel resolution, up to 64GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 13 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, and is powered by a  core processor or a (Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad-core processor) with 2GB of RAM.

Vodafone warns Apple iPhone 4S users not to update to iOS 6.1

Vodafone is warning their Apple iPhone 4S customers not to update their handsets to iOS 6.1 at this time. An issue has been identified with the the latest OS build which prevents some owners from connection the internet, sending and receiving texts and preventing users from making and receiving phone calls.

Apple released iOS 6.1 last week with a new featuring including the ability to use Siri to purchase movie tickets, a new placement of music volume controls on your lock screen and some bug fixes.

Nokia Lumia 920, Lumia 820 and Lumia 620 coming to Vodafone on February 6th


Vodafone UK has announced the the Nokia Lumia 920, Nokia Lumia 820 and the Nokia Lumia 620 will be available on its network starting February 6th. The carrier has announced that they have concluded their tests on the devices and that they are now ready for public consumption.

If you sign a two-year contract you can get the device for free or get the SIM-free unlocked version for £469.99. Only the black variant of the device is available for customers who are looking to pre-order Nokia’s upcoming flagship.

Samsung Galaxy Tab officially announced

Today Samsung and Vodafone officially announced the Samsung Galaxy Tab (GT-P1000) which runs . This is the first tablets to be released by Samsung and the first Android tablet.

The Galaxy Tab is expected to go on sale starting October through most European Markets and through their worldwide partners.
