Nokia Lumia 920 - Free on contract through Vodafone in the UK

Nokia has still to confirm the official release date of the Nokia Lumia 920, but Vodafone in the UK has the device up for pre-order. If you sign a two-year contract you can get the device for free or get the SIM-free unlocked version for £469.99. Only the black variant of the device is available for customers who are looking to pre-order Nokia’s upcoming flagship.

The Lumia 920 features a 4.5 inch HD touch display, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel PureView camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor.

It’s a surprise to see a flagship device being offered for free on any network, and its looks like Nokia is adamant to see the Lumia 920 succeed.

Nokia has still to unveil the pricing of the device on AT&T in the US and while its highly unlikely, we can be assured of the Lumia 920 being successful if it is offered for free in the US as well.
