Samsung announced two new mobile processors at MWC 2014. The Samsung Exynos 5422 Octa and the Samsung Exynos 5260 Hexa. Both support high-resolution displays, including Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) and WQXGA (2560 x 1600 pixels), making us wonder if a Quad-HD version of the Galaxy S5 may be introduced later this year.

Samsung Knox 2.0 announced, with two-factor authentication and improved sandboxing

Samsung Gear Fit announced - Tracks your health on a curved display
The new Gear 2 and Gear Neo smartwatches were not the only wearables that Samsung had in store at this year's MWC. The Korean manufacturer also unveiled the Samsung Gear Fit, a health tracking wearable device during their Unpacked 5 event in Barcelona.
Motorola Moto X successor coming in summer alongside new Moto smartwatch
Motorola is conducting a Q&A session on Twitter, and the company has just confirmed that the successor to its Moto X will be released in "late summer." While Motorola has not provided more details on the device, we are expecting it to offer the same customizable and unique experience at an attractive price point.

Marvell Armada SoC announced with 64 bit ARM Cortex A53 processor with 5 mode LTE modem
Marvell has announced its new Armada PXA 1928 chipset at the MWC on Tuesday. The SoC includes a quad-core, 1.5GHz Cortex A53-based CPU and a full HD-capable GC5000 GPU. The SoC also supports a number of connectivity options including LTE TDD/FDD, HSPA+, TD-HSPA+, and EDGE. It even supports VoLTE service.

Wiko Mobile, a company presented as “France’s fastest growing local phone maker", has announced the Wiko WAX, which happens to be the first Android smartphone to use the NVidia Tegra 4i SoC (which includes an NVidia i500 LTE modem).
BlackBerry Z3 and BlackBerry Q20 announced, alongside BES 12
BlackBerry has announced the affordable BlackBerry Z3 and the QWERTY bearing BlackBerry Q20 in Barcelona during the ongoing MWC. BlackBerry has introduced its latest Mobile Device Management system, BES 12.
The BlackBerry Z3 is the first model to have been produced under the arrangement agreed to by both BlackBerry and Foxconn under the terms of a five year deal signed by both sides. Under the deal, Foxconn will design, produce and warehouse these models that are aimed at emerging markets. BlackBerry will provide the software and profits will be split.

Sony SmartEyeglass - Video Demo
Following its presentation on Monday at MWC, Sony revealed more information about its SmartEyeglass concept, which is the Japanese manufacturer's answer to Google Glass. Sony suggests that you will be able to watch a soccer game while wearing the specs, and see the name and stats of certain players. The device will also allow you to instantly see check-in information when you arrive at the airport, with the gate number, and directions on how to get there.
