The popular WhatsApp messaging service which was recently acquired by Facebook for $16 billion, will soon to expanded to include voice communication, according to . The announcement was made by WhatsApp CEO Jan Koum, at the MWC in Barcelona.
The voice communication feature will first be offered to iOS and Android users followed by Windows Phone and BlackBerry shortly after. However, it is yet unclear if calls in WhatsApp will be free, like in Viber, or with some kind of monthly or yearly subscription.
