With the open nature of Android, it isn't surprising that almost every manufacturer has a device on their lineup. Dell is one such manufacturer, who has unveiled two new tablets at the ongoing Computex 2014 in Taiwan. The tablets are known as the Dell Venue 7 and the Dell Venue 8.

Acer announces more new smartphones at Computex
At the ongoing Computex 2014 in Taipei, China, Acer announced five new smartphones, an 8-inch tablet, and its first-ever wearable accessory. We have already told you about the Acer Liquid Jade smartphone with the Acer Liquid Leap wearable. We have also told you about the Acer Iconia Tab 8 premium Android tablet. So lets take a look at some of the other interesting announcements, which include an entry-level smartphone with DTS Audio and a triple-SIM smartphone for the extra-communicative among you. Asus announces three Android KitKat tablets with 64-bit Intel processors
The Asus Transformer Book V and the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi are two amazing Windows devices the company announced at the ongoing Computex 2014. But the company also had a lineup of affordable Android tablets ready to be shown off. These belong in the Asus Fonepad and MeMO Pad, and are all powered by Intel's new Atom line of mobile processors.
Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi officially announced
Asus followed the unveiling of the Asus Transformer Book V at Computex 2014, with the announcement of the Asus Transformer Book T300 Chi. This is one of the most beautifully designed devices from Asus to date, and has been dubbed by the company as the "world's thinnest 12.5-inch detachable tablet."

Asus has announced a very interesting device at the ongoing Computex exhibition at Taipei, which it is calling the Asus Transformer Book V. It is interesting because it is made up of three components - A smartphone, a tablet and a keyboard dock. The tablet when docked turns the device into a notebook with access to full Windows 8.1. Docking the phone to the combo allows the option of using Android instead.

Asus Fonepad Note FHD 6 officially announced with a large display, stylus and Intel inside
The Asus Fonepad Note FHD 6 was announced today at Computex 2013 as the company's first 'phablet' (Asus refers to it as a tablet). The device features a 6.0 inch touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD storage, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture, a 1.2 megapixel camera for video calls, a stylus and is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM.
ASUS MeMo Pad HD 7 is an affordable tablet for developing countries
The Asus MeMo Pad HD 7 was one of the tablets announced by the company at today's Computex as the smaller sibling to the Asus MeMO Pad FHD 10. The device features a 7 inch display, up to 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera, a secondary 1.2 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
The tablet is expected to be offered in developing markets later this year and will cost $130 with 8GB of storage while the 16GB model will cost $150.

Acer Iconia W3 officially unveiled, pre-orders start on June 4
The Acer Iconia W3 has been officially unveiled at Computex 2013. This Windows 8 tablet features an 8.1 inch touch display with a 1280 by 800 pixel resolution, up to 64GB of internal storage, a microSD card reader, a 2 megapixel camera, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a dual-core Intel Atom processor with 2GB of RAM.

Acer has announced its first phablet at Computex in the form of the Acer Liquid S1. The device features a 5.7 inch touch display with a 720 by 1280 pixel resolution, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor with 1GB of RAM. The handset comes with a 2400 mAh battery which Acer claims is capable of getting you through an active day.

Toshiba Windows RT tablet demonstrated
Microsoft recently revealed their intentions to join their tablet ranks with their own Microsoft Surface. But we didn't get to see Widows RT in action during Microsoft’s tablet Event. However manufacturers have been cooking up their own Windows RT hardware for some time now, and Toshiba was one of the first to demonstrate their upcoming devices during the Computex 2012.
The devices included a tablet and a touchscreen laptop powered by a TI OMAP 4470 chip with a 1.8GHz dual-core A9 processor and the PowerVR SGX544 GFX graphics chip.

Intel introduces Ultrabooks
Today Intel announced a new class in laptops called UltraBooks at Computex 2011. These new breed of laptops which are meant to directly compete with Apple's MacBook Air will offer longer battery life, are less than an inch thick and priced under $1000. Intel is confident that by 2012 the Ultrabook will make up 40 percent of the consumer laptops sold worldwide.

Asus teases upcoming devices
Asus looks to be prepping up some device releases for Computex 2011, in Taipei. Their Facebook page features a sleek device with the title "Break the Rules: Pad or Phone". With the Asus folks having quite a line up of tablets which they demonstrated during CES 2011, I wouldn't be surprised if we are treated to a sleek new smartphone.
