HP Spectre Ultrabook teased
An HP source has revealed an upcoming ultra thin Ultrabook from HP which is known as the Spactre. This year will probably see this and many other Ultrabooks running Windows 8 enter the market this year with the Windows team finally having a rival to the MacBook Air. Asus to launch first UltraBook on October 11th
The Ultrabook is a concept from Intel which brings the Macbook Air like design to the PC world. Asus is getting prepared to launch their first Ultrabook and according to their Facebook Page it may be on October 11th.
Ultrabooks like the UX21 will finally bring a MacBook Air competitive design to the Windows platform. The Asus Facebook page points towards an event in New York on October 11 and an Asus website which says "Good Things come to those who wait" with a picture and reference to an Ultrabook, along with a counter counting down towards the said date.Tuesday, May 31, 2011
Intel Ultrabook announced
Today Intel announced a new class in laptops called UltraBooks at Computex 2011. These new breed of laptops which are meant to directly compete with Apple's MacBook Air will offer longer battery life, are less than an inch thick and priced under $1000. Intel is confident that by 2012 the Ultrabook will make up 40 percent of the consumer laptops sold worldwide.
