Microsoft's ultimate guide to Windows tablets, notebooks and All-in-one PCs



When it comes to Windows, you get a wide selection of tablets or convertible notebooks to choose from whether its for school or work. With that in mind, Microsoft uploaded more than 20 videos to show off all the choices you have.

While Microsoft has chosen not to promote their own Surface tablets, the Nokia Lumia 2520 joins a list of devices from Acer, Asus, HP, Lenovo and Samsung.


1) Acer Aspire E15

The Aspire E 15 is a laptop for those that need a desktop on the go. Touch enabled, and powered by Windows.




2) Acer Aspire Switch 10

The Aspire Switch 10 is a tablet which is powered by an Intel Atom CPU and runs Windows 8.1. The device can easily switch into a laptop courtesy of its keyboard dock.




3) Acer Aspire V5

The Aspire V5 is lightweight and touch enabled notebook which comes in a variety of configurations.




4) Acer Aspire V11

The Aspire V11 is a touch-enabled laptop with a compact form factor, running Windows 8.1




5) Asus Transformer Book T100

The T100 is a tablet and laptop combo powered by an Intel Atom CPU, Windows 8.1 and comes with Office Home & Student 2013.




6) Asus VivoTab Note 8

The Intel Atom powered VivoTab 8 comes with a stylus and Office Home & Student 2013




7) Asus X200

The X200 is an affordable Windows 8 laptop with SonicMaster audio and a touch display.




8) Dell Venue 8 Pro

The Venue 8 Pro can be purchased with a few different options. The Intel Atom powered tablets run Windows 8.1 and come with Office Home & Student 2013.




9) Dell Venue 11 Pro

The Venue 11 Pro can be configured a number of different ways, either with an Intel Atom CPU, or a more powerful Core i3 chipset. Either way, the tablet can be used as stand-alone or docked with a keyboard.




10) Dell XPS 11

Dell’s XPS 11 is an Ultrabook that thinks it’s a tablet too. Available with a couple different Intel Core CPUs, and SSD storage options.




11) HP ENVY Recline 23

The ENVY Recline 23 is an all-in-one PC that almost converts to being a table-top tablet. It is touch enabled and can be customized to order. It also comes with Beats Audio.




12) HP Pavilion 11 x360

The x360 is a 360-degree hinged design allowing use a number of different ways. It can also be ordered with a number of different options.




13) HP Pavilion 13 x2

The Pavilion 13 x2 is an AMD CPU powered Ultrabook-tablet combo that runs Windows 8.1 and can be customized to order.




14) HP Spectre 13 Ultrabook

Many of the new ultrabooks are coming with touch screens to augment touchpads. The Spectre 13 comes with a large SSD (256GB), 2560x1440 QHD display and 8GB of RAM.




15) Lenovo FLEX 2 14D

The FLEX 14D can be configured lots of different ways, up to, and including an Intel Core i7 CPU, and 500GB HD. Of course they’re touch enabled and can be used as a laptop or placed as a tent to watch media.




16) Lenovo Mixx 2 10

The Lenovo Miix 2 tablet is a sharp looking 10-inch Intel Atom powered tablet that comes with a keyboard dock. It comes with Office Home & Student 2013.

Sony’s neat Flip PCs bring a unique form factor to the mobile PC environment. The display is hinged in way that can flipped out to use a tablet or in display mode. Powered by Windows 8.1 and an Intel Core i5 CPU.




21) Toshiba Satellite C55

Toshiba’s line of Satellite laptops are traditionally affordable and are available in many configurations.
