Looking for an ultra cheap tablet with a pure Android experience? The first device which would probably come to mind is the Google Galaxy Nexus, which costs just $199 for its 8GB variant. Acer now gives you a second choice with their Acer Iconia Tab A110 which promises to be a great competitor for Google’s tablet.
The Iconia Tab features a 7 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, 5 megapixel rear camera, a secondary camera for video calls, and is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor.
The device costs $230 with the added benefits of expandable micro SD storage and a micro HDMI port, but falls short with a lower resolution display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels.
The choice will come down to personal preference, you can choose the Nexus 7 for its higher resolution and quick Android updates or the Iconia Tab A110 for its expandable storage which is always useful or the HDMI port which will allow you to stream your content to your HD TV.
