Acer Iconia Tab 7 officially announced

Acer Iconia Tab 7
Today Acer introduced the Iconia Tab 7 alongside the Acer Iconia One 7. Both are  affordable Android powered tablets which aim to ease the burden on your wallets. The tablets were unveiled by Acer, during its "A Touch More Connected" launch event in New York.

The Acer Iconia Tab 7 is presented by Acer as “the marriage of the two most used consumer devices - a tablet and phone”, and offers phone functionality, as well as 3G data connectivity. It will run Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. Its specs include a 7-inch IPS display with 800 x 1280 pixels, a quad-core processor of unknown speed and provenience, microSD card slot, and up to 6 hours of battery life. Rear and front-facing cameras are included, but Acer didn't provide details about them.

Like the Iconia One 7, the Acer Iconia Tab 7 will be launched in mid-May across Europe, Middle East and Africa, where it's going to cost around €149. It looks like the Tab 7 won’t be released in the US, although customers in Latin America will be able to get it starting June.
