The HTC One M8 for Sprint is now receiving the Android 4.4.3 software update. Most of the improvements with the update will be under the hood, so you won't see any visual differences. However Sprint customers will also see that Wi-Fi calling will be enabled on your device.
Sprint introduced Wi-Fi calling for a few of their devices earlier this year, but have steadily expanded the portfolio of devices which support this feature since then. In addition to gaining support for Wi-Fi calling, the Sprint HTC One M8 now sports an HD Voice icon.
Since the HTC One M8 runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, it already has the transparent status and nav bars, white status bar icons, immersive mode, new Location menu, cloud printing, or full screen album and movie art in the lock screen. With Android 4.4.3 you wont notice any visual improvements, but your HTC One M8 will benefit from various optimization, bug fixes and security improvements.
The update should be pushed out to Sprint devices OTA (over-the-air) so please leave us a comment if you have received Android 4.4.3 on your HTC One M8.
