The Samsung Galaxy Mega for US Cellular is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat software update. Unfortunately this is KitKat 4.4.2, not the more recent 4.4.3 or 4.4.4, but most users won't be able to spot the difference. The update is available both OTA (over-the-air) and through the Samsung Kies software, and users are free to download it in a way that suites them best.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note II
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note II may both belong to the 'phablet' category, but cater to two very different audiences. The smaller Galaxy Note II offers precise input option of a stylus, and sports more internal storage, plus it takes better pictures and video, all for a slightly lower price. Meanwhile the larger Galaxy Mega 6.3 is meant mainly for media consumption and for those looking for the largest screen in a slim (somewhat) portable package.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 - Video Review
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 features a 6.3 inch touch display with a 720 by 1280 pixel resolution, up to 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera, a secondary 1.9 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor with 1.5 GB of RAM.
The enormous screen size and the generous 3200mAh battery make the Galaxy Mega 6.3 a great device for browsing the web, watching videos, reading, editing pics and getting things done with the multi-window mode.
