Nokia recently announced the Nokia Lumia 720 and the Nokia Lumia 520 which completes the company’s Windows Phone 8 lineup offering handsets at various price points to users. Now these two handsets are available for pre-order in the United Kingdom through Unlocked Mobiles.

The Nokia Lumia 720 joins the company’s lineup of Windows Phone 8 devices, offering users a mid-range option in a variety of colors and a unibody design. The device features a 4.3 inch touch display, 8GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 6.7 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture, a secondary HD camera for video calls and is powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512MB of RAM.

The Lumia 720 also features wireless charging with an optional wireless car charger available to those who need one. Its somewhat unconventional 6.7 megapixel camera features Carl Zeiss optics and a f/1.9 aperture, which is generally not found in smartphones. This aperture results in better low-light photo and video performance, which is something the company has been investing in recently.

Nokia Lumia 720 and Nokia Lumia 520 specs leaked

Recently the Nokia Lumia 720 and the Nokia Lumia 520 were spotted in an Indonesian carrier database. Now the spec sheets for the two upcoming Windows Phone 8 devices have leaked out giving us a clearer idea of what we can expect from the handsets.

The Lumia 720 codenamed Nokia Zeal will feature a 4.3 inch Clear Black touch display, 8GB of storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 6 megapixel camera, a secondary 2 megapixel camera for video calls, HSPA+ connectivity and will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor.

The Lumia 520 will codenamed Nokia Fame will feature a 4 inch Super Sensitive touch display, 8GB of storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera and will be powered by a 1GHz dual-core processor.

Nokia Lumia 720 and Nokia Lumia 520 appear before MWC

We have been hearing reports about the Nokia Lumia 1000 recently and we are now seeing two more new devices leak before the upcoming Mobile World Congress. The Nokia Lumia 720 (RM-885) and Nokia Lumia 520 (RM-914) have surfaced in Indonesia and are the likely successors of the Nokia Lumia 710 and the Nokia Lumia 510 respectively.

Not much is known about either device but they will likely be on either side of the Nokia Lumia 620 with the Lumia 720 aimed at the mid-range market while the Nokia Lumia 510 takes over as the entry level Windows Phone 8. Both devices are expected to launch in Q2 2013, which makes the upcoming MWC a possible venue for their debut.
