Samsung Galaxy S III for AT&T is now receiving Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update through Kies

The Samsung Galaxy S III for AT&T is now received the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update. Unfortunately its not an over-the-air (OTA) update yet, and instead is being offered through the Samsung Kies software. You can easily get the update by connecting you device to your computer which has the latest version of Samsung’s Kies desktop application installed. If you don’t mind waiting, you can always wait for the OTA update to be eventually pushed to your devices.

AT&T is the third to offer the Jelly Bean update following Sprint and T-Mobile who have already made the latest version available to their users. This only leaves customers of the Samsung Galaxy S III  for Verizon to still receive the update.

Android 4.1 is an incremental update for Android but brings some great improvements over Ice Cream Sandwich, including the smooth performance, and Google Now.
