Motorola reveals Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update plans for its devices


Last month Motorola revealed their Android 4.0 ICS update plans for their devices and the Motorola Droid Bionic received Android ICS on Friday making it the last scheduled device to receive the  update.

Now the company is looking forward and have revealed which of their devices will receive the  software update.

Motorola Droid 4 will receive Android 4.0 ICS Update, change-log now available


Verizon has approved the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS) software update for the Motorola Droid 4. It was just last week that a select group of testers got a chance to savor the Ice Cream Sandwich update on their devices through a soak test and seeing that Verizon has provided a change-log we figure that the test has been successful and we can expect the ICS update to roll out in the coming week or so.

The Droid 4 succeeds the Motorola Droid 3 as Verizon's newest flagship QWERTY and is available at a subsided price of $199.99 with a 2 year contract.

Motorola Droid 4 - Unboxing and Hands on


The Motorola Droid 4 succeeds the Motorola Droid 3 as the new flagship in the company's QWERTY toting Droid device lineup for Verizon. Motorola has improved on their new device with a faster processor, double the RAM and a high capacity 1785 mAh battery while the camera remains the same. The device is set to cost $199.99 with a 2-year contract with Verizon.
