The refurbished Apple iPad mini with Retina Display is now available for purchase through Apple's online stores. As you may know, the refurbished iPads are considerably cheaper than the retail iPad mini with Retina, which is priced at $399 for its 16GB model.

Apple has just released the iOS 7.0.4 software update for compatible iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch devices. The newest version of Apple's mobile operating system has faced its share of issues with users, and Apple has been working hard at fixing these issues which includes tethering issues and some security holes.

Apple iPad mini with Retina Display now available for purchase


The Apple iPad mini with Retina Display is finally available for purchase. The 16GB model will cost $399, 64GB and 128GB models will set you back $499, $599 and $699, respectively. When Apple announced its new iPad mini with Retina display last month, the only launch information it gave for the device was that it'd be arriving "later in November." We are glad we didn't have to wait too long to get our hands on the refreshed iPad mini.

Should I upgrade to the Apple iPad mini with Retina ?


The new iPad mini with Retina is one of the newest tablets in Apple's lineup and the second generation in mini tablet. Its a huge upgrade over last year's model, which has even resulted in its price being raised to $399 compared to the $329 release price last year. But the question is if you should upgrade to the iPad mini 2 if you own an original iPad mini. Lets find out.

Sprint confirms upcoming availability of Apple iPad Air and iPad mini 2

Sprint has announced that they will be offering the brand new Apple iPad Air on its network, starting Friday, November 1st. The Apple iPad mini with Retina Display will also be available through the carrier later in November. Sprint's tablet plans start as low as $5 a month.

Both the iPad Air and the smaller iPad mini 2 come with Retina displays and are powered by 64-bit A7 processors from Apple.

The Apple iPad Air was not the only tablet that that Apple unveiled today. The company also released the successor to the Apple iPad mini - the Apple iPad mini with Retina Display. The iPad mini 2 as we prefer calling it is no longer the weak under performing sibling of the regular iPad, instead it comes packed with a high resolution Retina Display and the same powerful processor found on its larger sibling.

[22 Oct 2013] Apple iPad Event

Apple has scheduled an even for October 22nd at 10.00 AM in San Francisco, where the company is expected to unveil its next generation iPads - the Apple iPad 5 and the Apple iPad mini 2. Given Apple's adherence to tradition,  the iPad 5 and the iPad mini 2 are expected to be released on the second Friday after their introduction, or November 1st, meaning that in about 10 days, we'll start seeing people lining up at Apple's retail stores.
