Many Apple iPhone 3G users complained about a noticeable speed decrease after upgrading to iOS 4.0. Considering that iOS4 doesn't give the 3G users many of the features available to the Apple iPhone 3GS and the Apple iPhone 4, it is frustrating to find the iPhone 3G's speed being affected.

Apple iOS 4.0 now available for download with change-log
IOS4 (formerly iPhone OS 4) has been released and made available for free as a download for iDevice users via iTunes. Pleas note that you will have to update to iTunes 9.2 before you can install iOS 4.0

Apple iPhone 4 running iOS 4.0 - Quick Look Video

Apple iPhone 3GS - Jailbroken on iOS 4
The Apple iPhone 3GS has been jailbroken by msft.guy who fixed the iPhone unlock for 3.1.3 on baseband 5.11.07. and ported it to iOS 4. The jailbreak is done using PwnAge tool, while preserving the baseband of your iPhone. You can unlock your device using ultraSn0w or blackSn0w. The video below shows the working jailbreak
