New Xbox 360 Dashboard coming tomorrow


Users of the Microsoft Xbox 360 are getting ready for an update, and it's coming to the Dashboard. The Dashboard is the main UI on the Xbox 360 which controls everything you do on your gaming console.

The update is a part of Microsoft's effort to unify the user experience across they device portfolio by bringing the Metro UI from Windows Phone and Windows 8 to the Xbox and to give users the ability to interact between their Windows based devices seamlessly.



Microsoft is working on making the Xbox offer everything you would need for entertainment. The update brings new streaming video and video on demand services which you can enjoy through your HDTVs. There will be a total of 40 new entertainment services which will a part of the new update.

The update also brings Bing integration, allowing users to use the Xbox Kinect to search through the Xbox Live Market for games, movies and music using your voice.



Microsoft will also release the Xbox Companion app for Windows Phone devices alongside this update. The app will allow you to control your Xbox directly from your Windows Phone. You will be able to make selec The application will be available for free on the Windows Phone Marketplace.
