Samsung Galaxy Note II receives Android 4.3 test firmware
Samsung has been working hard to bring the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software updates to their flagship devices. This is mainly because the company wants to extend support for the Samsung Galaxy Gear smartwatch, which requires Bluetooth 4.0 LE from the Android 4.3 update.
It looks like the update for the Samsung Galaxy Note II could be pretty close to ready, because the N7100XXUEMJ5 test version of the software has leaked out.

Samsung Galaxy S4 to get Android 4.3 in October, Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 in November
Recently we have been seeing many rumors on the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the Samsung Galaxy S4, Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note II. According to SFR, the Galaxy Note 2 and Galaxy S3 should be getting Android 4.3 Jelly Bean sometime in November-December, while the almighty Galaxy S4 is set to receive it in October.
This in no way confirms that the U.S. variants of these devices will get the updates at the same time, but at least is indicates a time frame for Samsung to start rolling out the updates.

Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note II
The Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 and the Samsung Galaxy Note II may both belong to the 'phablet' category, but cater to two very different audiences. The smaller Galaxy Note II offers precise input option of a stylus, and sports more internal storage, plus it takes better pictures and video, all for a slightly lower price. Meanwhile the larger Galaxy Mega 6.3 is meant mainly for media consumption and for those looking for the largest screen in a slim (somewhat) portable package.
