The Android 4.3 Jelly Bean software update is now rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy Note II for T-Mobile. The update weighs in at a rather hefty 614MB, so make sure that your battery is at least 50% charged and that you are on a Wi-Fi network when you are downloading and installing the update.
The update brings with it support for the Samsung GALAXY Gear smartwatch along with Samsung KNOX. The latter is the secure container that holds a set of business apps so that you can bring your GALAXY Note II to work, feeling comfortable that no one will be able to infect the apps or spy on them. Pressing the Samsung KNOX icon will bring up a browser, contacts list, email and calendar. At the end of the day, press the icon and you can once again access your personal apps. Samsung developed KNOX so that its devices can be used at companies that allow employees to bring their own device to work.
