The Samsung Galaxy Note II for Sprint is now receiving the Android 4.4 KitKat software update. This makes Sprint, the first major carrier in the U.S. to offer KitKat for the former phablet flagship.
Sprint hasn't provided a detailed changelog with the update which brings Android 4.4.2 with the L900VPUBNE2 software version.
Since such updates are rolled out in phases, it maybe a couple of days before you receive the OTA notification. You may be able to force check for the update by checking for it under the System menu.
Once you do receive the update notification, make sure that your battery is fully charged and that you are connected to your Wi-Fi network if you want to avoid unnecessary data changes. After you download and install the update, feel free to list the changes you come across in the comments section below
Among the improvements the Galaxy Note II is expected to receive support for Samsung Knox version 2.0 along with support for the new Samsung Gear 2 smartwatch.
