Dell Venu Pro receives Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) software update

The Dell Venue Pro is finally joining it's brethren to receive Windows Phone 7.5 Mango. This means that Windows Phone 7.5 has now been deployed to all the Windows Phone devices and should be available to all users.

The Dell Venue Pro has it's own unique design with it's portrait QWERTY keyboard, but shares it's internal specs with the other Windows Phones.

HTC HD7S will receive Mango update on Tuesday

Now that Windows Phone (Mango) 7.5 has been made available officially, it is just a matter of time before it makes its way to the older Windows Phone devices, and the HTC HD7S on AT&T is one of those devices which are getting the update.

The HD7S is not the first device to be treated to the Mango update, with devices like the  HTC Trophy on Verizon and the HTC Arrive on Sprint have already received their updates to the latest version of Windows Phone.

Fujitsu IS12T will feature earthquake warning system


The Fujitsu-Toshiba IS12T is the first Windows Phone Mango handset and was revealed in Japan on July 28. The device features a 13.2 megapixel camera, 32GB of internal memory, a thin water resistant design and is powered by a 1 GHz processor with 512 MB of RAM.

First Windows Phone Mango device revealed

Yesterday Microsoft revealed that Windows Phone (Mango) 7.5 has been released to manufacturing (RTM) and the first device running the latest mobile OS from Microsoft has been revealed. The device is manufactured by Fujitsu-Toshiba and is called the IS12T and will be water and dust proof which itself seems a first for a smartphone.

Windows Phone Mango update is official

The Mango update for Windows Phone 7 is now official. It promises 500 new features including multi-tasking and improved social network integration to include Twitter and LinkedIn.

This update will be available for existing devices for free and will be available on all new phones released this fall. Alongside Nokia who will be releasing Windows Phone devices, we will also see devices from Acer, Fujitsu and ZTE.

Windows Phone "Mango" update to be previewed at VIP event


Microsoft has announced that they will preview their upcoming "Mango" update for Windows Phone 7 for analysts and members of the media at a VIP event in New York on May 24.

The developer tools for Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) are also expected to be released during this event.
