Google Play Edition handsets receive Android 4.4.3 software update



The software update is reportedly now rolling out to the Google Play Edition devices. We already reported that the update was headed to the Galaxy S4 GPE, but it has also reportedly arrived on the  Google Play Editions of the HTC One (M7)HTC One M8Sony Xperia Z Ultra, the Motorola Moto G, and the LG G Pad 8.3

Google Nexus owners were the first to get access to get access to the latest incremental update to KitKat, followed by Motorola's announcement that they were rolling out Android 4.4.3 for the Moto X, Moto G and Moto E.

Since the updates are rolled out in stages, you may not receive the OTA notification immediately, but it should eventually pop up in your notification bar in the days ahead. You can also manually check for the update on your Google Play Edition device under Settings > About.

You could also consider manually downloading the official OTA zip files using the following links and manually flashing the Android 4.4.3 update to your Google Play Edition (GPE) device.
