HTC One mini - Video Review

The HTC One mini maintains the stellar and recognizable design of the HTC One, including features like the front facing stereo speakers and Ultrapixel camera. Despite its smaller 4.3 inch screen, lack of OIS in its camera, slightly reduced processing power and memory the One mini is still a very capable device at an affordable price.

On the software side you have the latest version of Android 4.2 Jelly Bean coupled with HTC Sense 5.0. It also includes the HTC Zoe camera software and Blinkfeed which keeps track of all your social networks.

While its biggest competitor is likely the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, the superior specs and design of the HTC One mini definitely gives HTC the edge.

HTC One mini - Hands on video

The HTC One mini was officially announced today, bringing everything you like about the original HTC One, packed in a smaller form factor. The handset will be available in black and silver, but HTC hasn't revealed how much it will cost. Considering that the HTE One costs $200 on contact, the One mini requires a price point that’s remarkably competitive to give consumers a reason to choose it over its larger sibling.

In any case the HTC One mini is a great addition to the company's lineup and will definitely expand the reach of its already popular One series. You can take a closer look at the handset in the following hands on video with the HTC One mini.

HTC One mini officially announced

After months of rumors, the HTC One mini has finally been officially unveiled. The One mini is a physically smaller version of the HTC One, aiming to offer the premium design of its larger sibling in a more affordable yet powerful and pocket friendly package.

The HTC One mini features a 4.3 inch touch display with a 720 by 1280 pixel resolution compared to the 4.7 inch 1080p display on the One. At 122 grams and with a thickness of 9.25 millimeters you also get a lighter and thinner device which maintains the high quality metal design from the One.
