Motorola Droid X receives software update
Verizon has released a small update for the Motorola Droid X which will fix bugs which some users may have experienced after the Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update.
The Droid X was originally released with Android 2.2 Froyo with the Motorola's custom interface on top. The Gingerbread update found users experiencing reduced battery life and lagging. There were also instances of the device rebooting without reason.

Motorola Droid X - Hands On Videos
The Motorola Droid X features a 4.3 inch touch display with a 480 by 854 pixel resolution, 6.5GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture, and is powered by a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM.
The handset runs Android 2.2 Froyo with Motorola’s own Android customization.
