Motorola Droid X receives software update
Verizon has released a small update for the Motorola Droid X which will fix bugs which some users may have experienced after the Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update.
The Droid X was originally released with Android 2.2 Froyo with the Motorola's custom interface on top. The Gingerbread update found users experiencing reduced battery life and lagging. There were also instances of the device rebooting without reason.

The device features a 4.3 inch touch display, an 8 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture, 6.5GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD and is powered by a 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM.
