Motorola Droid X receives software update
Verizon has released a small update for the Motorola Droid X which will fix bugs which some users may have experienced after the Android 2.3 Gingerbread software update.
The Droid X was originally released with Android 2.2 Froyo with the Motorola's custom interface on top. The Gingerbread update found users experiencing reduced battery life and lagging. There were also instances of the device rebooting without reason.
This update is said to fix all those issues and can be obtained OTA. The software is 11MB in size and will bring the build version to 4.5.602.MB810.Verizon.en.US.
