[Windows Phone app] Xbox Video updated with bug fixes


Xbox Video for Windows PhoneMicrosoft has released an updated Xbox Video for Windows Phone for Windows Phone 8 (1.6.115.0) and Windows Phone 8.1 (2.6.115.0) devices bringing a couple of bug fixes and improvements to the app.

Xbox Video app on Windows Phone lets you access all the latest blockbuster movies and TV episodes on the go, you can buy or rent movies and TV shows, then stream or download them directly to your phone. The other great thing about Xbox Video is that your collection follows you from device to device, you can buy and start a movie or show on your Windows Phone, and then pick up where you left off on Windows 8 Tablet, Xbox One, or Xbox 360.

Xbox Video for Windows Phone brings the following new changes and improvements:
  • In some cases rental expiration notifications showed an incorrect countdown.
  • Some customers saw the error “This content is currently unavailable for streaming. Please download to your device to view.” when playing back owned movies or TV episodes.
Xbox Video is currently only available in the following regions: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States.
