Google Chrome updated (27.0)

Google Chrome has been updated to version 27 (27.0.1453.93 m) and brings several new features and improvements inclduing the Google Now style voice powered search feature, which was demonstrated during Google I/O 2013.

You can download the updated version of Chrome for Windows, Mac, Linux or Chrome OS by clicking the menu on your browser and selecting 'About Google Chrome'.

Once you have installed the update, you can initiate Google Search by clicking on the microphone icon located in the search box (depends on your region). This will initiate the new search functionality which responds to various voice commands.

The new version also bundles a feature which allows understanding and linking questions using Google's Knowledge Graph. This will allow you to link corresponding search queries with each other, without having to ask a full question over and over again.

In future updates users will be able to initiate the voice search by simply calling out to 'Google', just as you would do on your Android device when Google Now has been initiated.

In the meantime you can enjoy these fun features if they have been rolled out to your region. If not you wont likely have to wait long to enjoy this latest update to Chrome.

Google Chrome for Android has also been updated to match the update on the desktop version
