T-Mobile is offering the 16GB Google Nexus 4 at just $49.99 with a two-year contract, and has started to run out of stock as a result. The device was previously priced at $199.99 which means you are getting a huge $150 discount on the device. The sale is valid through February 18th, so be sure you don’t miss out.
The sale is only valid for purchases made online, and is a great offering even when compared to the affordable $349 asking price from Google. Still you have to keep in mind that you will be tied down to a two-year contract with T-Mobile. If you want to get the Nexus 4 contract free on the carrier, you will have to spend $499.
Even the higher asking price is reasonable considering the device features features a 4.7 inch HD touch display, up to 16GB of internal storage an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video capture and will be powered by a quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM.
Additionally owning an unlocked Nexus device means that you will always be the first in line for Android updates, as the Nexus 4 is probably the only smartphone currently running Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The Nexus 4 has been extremely hard to come by since its launch. T-Mobile recently re-stocked their shelves with the device at the end of last month and its almost gone just 10 days later. Offering a device which was already on demand for $49.99 looks to have taken the demand past T-Mobile's available supply.
