Cloud storage is all around us. iOS users have iCloud and Windows Phone users have SkyDrive. But Android users until recently have had to rely on third party solutions like Dropbox. But it looks like Manufacturers are now readying their own solutions, with Samsung having something in line and now LG with the LG Cloud.
The LG Cloud service will be available in beta starting tomorrow in

However when the service goes public the storage will be reduced to 5GB, with non-LG users having even lesser 2GB. Users can upload files upto 2GB in size.
When users upload videos, they will be transcoded in real time for better bandwidth utilization. This will allow you to to stream 3D content captured on your device on an LG TV or other devices in the LG ecosystem.

There is no news if LG will also develop a Windows Phone app, but it would be a likely addition depending on the Windows Phone 8 popularity.
The PC client will allow you to upload and manage your files from your Windows XP or Windows 7 computer. You can download the PC client using the following link.

A web based solution is also said to be in the works and users will have the option to purchase extra cloud storage at a monthly / annual cost.
