If you own an Acer Iconia tablet, it’s time to get ready for some Ice Cream Sandwich. Acer has announced that the Acer Iconia Tab A100 and Acer Iconia Tab A500 will be receiving Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS).
The rollout will start on April 25th and should arrive for U.S. tablets on April 27th according to the report.
It has been around six months since ICS was officially released and so far only the Acer Iconia Tab A200 has gotten to savor the latest version of Android. We expect that Acer will include their own UI over the stock Android.
