The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 for Sprint is reportedly receiving an OTA (over-the-air) software update. The new update brings the T217SVPUANB8 software version, which will improve Wi-Fi, install KNOX, and make the WiFi "auto network switch" default to off. That last one's pretty specific, but Sprint says it will ultimately enable users to connect to any WiFi network regardless of its strength by suppressing the "Your internet connection is unstable" error message.

Apple iPad Air vs. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 - Video Comparison
We have already seen the iPad Air go up against the Note 10.1 (2014). But Samsung has another, cheaper tablet in their lineup, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1. The Apple iPad Air is clearly the better performer, but it has one huge obstacle in its path, which is its high price tag.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 - Video Review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 may shares the flagship branding of the Galaxy lineup, but doesn't have the high end specs you would expect to come tied with such a device. Its still a great alternative to the Apple iPad with a $399 price which buys you a tablet with a 10.1 inch display 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 3.2 MP camera capable of 720p HD video capture, a 1.3 MP camera for video calls and a 1.6GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
However considering the Google Nexus 10 offers a better display and more power for the same price, it seems unlikely that the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is the best choice for an Android tablet unless you are a hardcore Samsung fan.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (8.0) - Video Review
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (8.0) is a decent mid-range offering for anyone looking to purchase a new Android tablet. It features a 8.0 inch touch display, up to 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 5 megapixel camera capable of 720p HD video capture, a secondary 1.3 megapixel camera for video calls and is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 1.5GB of RAM. The device is light, portable and powerful not only offering itself as a great tool for browsing the web and sending emails but also for watching movies and playing games.
There are definitely some alternatives in the market like the Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 and the Apple iPad mini, so make sure you know this is the right device for you before investing in it.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0) - Video Preview
The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0) offers a compact lightweight entry into the Galaxy tablet family. It introduces a few small changes and improvements over its predecessor, but the inclusion of phone call and cellular data connectivity is a definite bonus.
The Galaxy Tab 3 (7.0) specs include a 7.0 inch display with a 600 by 1024 pixel resolution, up to 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded through microSD, a 3.2 megapixel camera, optional 3G connectivity, a secondary camera for video calls and a 1.2GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.
The 7 inch Galaxy Tab 3 may not be a worthy upgrade for Galaxy Tab 2 users, but maybe a great entry point for someone looking for a good entry-point into the Android tablet world.
